Lyrics:
We are the Peterson Farm Bros, and we’re farming and we grow it
We love agriculture, and we want the world to know it
Farming is a way of life with many different flavors
Being stewards of the gifts God gave us

Out here on the farm,
We’re running green John Deere Tractors
Out here on the farm,
We work in many weather factors
Out here on the farm,
We’re working hard to raise your food
Out here on the farm. On the family farm.

Agriculture, is so important to me, (and should be to you) HAY!
It feeds the world and will never ever cease to be, We need to eat!
We all need farmers to provide us with our food, food, food, food!

Workin’ farmer style.
Farmer Style
Work, work, work, work, working farmer style

Haaaaaaay, for my cattle
Work, work, work, work, working farmer style
Haaaaaaay, from the field
Work, work, work, work

Farmers are working harder than you might imagine
But that is just because we have a job that is our passion
We will work sunup to sundown time and time again
As if working for the Lord and not for men

Out here on the farm
We get away from lights of cities
Out here on the farm
The countryside is nice and pretty
Out here on the farm.
We work together as a family.
Out here on the farm. On the family farm.

Agriculture, is so important to me, (and should be to you) HEY!
It feeds the world and will never ever cease to be, We need to eat!
We all need farmers to provide us with our food, food, food, food!

Workin’ farmer style

Hay, hay, hay, hay
Is what we feed our cattle
So they grow big and strong
And then become the food that keeps us living nice and long.
Our crops like corn and wheat
Help make diets complete
Without the farmers working
We would all be starving
You know what I’m saying?

Workin’ farmer style

Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey

Hey, thank the farmers!
Hey, for your food!

restaurant on smartphone That’s Debatable:
Your Smartphone Has Hijacked Your Life

Smartphones put the world at your fingertips. With a seemingly endless supply of apps, you can get a date, scout out the best restaurant in town, and pull up the fastest route to the dinner table, all in a matter of seconds. The services behind apps like these seek to give you the best experience, tailored to your specific tastes. But are they reducing our experiences to ones dictated by algorithms? Should we worry about living the mediated life, or embrace it?

Join Future Tense on Wednesday, February 20, for the launch of “That’s Debatable,” a new debate series hosted by the New America Foundation. Hear from New America’s Bernard L. Schwartz Fellows Marvin Ammori and Christine Rosen, Arizona State University’s Daniel Sarewitz, and Yelp’s Miriam Warren as they contemplate whether or not the smartphone has hijacked our lives.

What is bluetooth capability with regards to GPS systems?

Sunday, February 24th, 2013

There are 2 types of units that have both Bluetooth and GPS. First is PND (Portable Navigation Devices) with Bluetooth. These are basically GPS receivers with LCD display and map navigation for turn by turn directions. Bluetooth is added so that the speaker of the PND can be used to answer your mobile calls. It thus is used as a hands-free mobile phone device plus a map navigation device. The map navigation also has Points-of-Interest (POI) where you can find things like restaurants and the database in the map has the phone number of the POI. You then use the LCD touch screen interface to automatically dial the number on the map database by using the Bluetooth to your mobile phone.

The second type of unit is a GPS receiver with Bluetooth data connection to a smartphone or PC. The map navigation software is running on the smartphone or PC and the GPS coordinate location is sent over Bluetooth to the smartphone or PC. The device can be very small; as small as a key-chain FOB, and does not have an LCD display.

How did you pay for college?

What would you tell a guest if they wanted to eat at a restaurant, but there are no tables available for HOURS?

Friday, February 22nd, 2013

I’m looking at this from the viewpoint of a young businessman who’s delegated to entertain a visiting customer, not from the viewpoint of a maître d’hôtel or a restaurant hostess.

Well, of course you should have made a reservation if the restaurant was that great and that popular. You’d do well to carry a handy written list of good local restaurants, with their addresses and phone numbers, rather than having to riffle through the phone book or poke search buttons on your smartphone.

If for some reason you can’t get into your first choice of restaurants for hours, fall back on Plan B. With your little cell phone, call around for a reservation, so you won’t be disappointed when you get to your alternate choice.

Or if your guest is going to be around for another day or so, you could suggest making a reservation for the next day, and eating at some other nice place meanwhile.

Smooth handling of this common problem will make you look debonair and resourceful, rather than ill-prepared for difficulties.

How much should I earn in USA to live well?

Friday, February 22nd, 2013

My company is talking with me to go work in USA.
How much should I earn in USA to live well?
I am married and have 3 children and maybe I will stay in Ohio
How much we need to spend in food, gas, phone, water, internet, rent, pay a car, insurance, health care, groceries and other stuff?

How much I will pay in taxes if they are offering 4,000 at month?

¿This income is enough if I will pay rent and all my children are going to school?

Thanks in advance

while every state is different and each has their own taxes and utilities cost. but 4000 is a good income. some people make more. so many make less.

food.. family of 5,.. 4-500
gas.. for the car or to heat house?
car gas is less than $3 a gallon, house gas can vary on time of year. $10-100
phone,.. house phone or cell phone? cell average is 50-75
water is around 50
internet 40 for decent service (plus cable package with phone is 120-145)
rent, again can vary so much. apt, or house. 4-5 room. 900-1500
a car payment is usually between 3-400
insurance for the car depend on your driving 50-100
health care is insane lets hope you get it from work. you will do a co-pay 60-120 each vist.

taxes again.all depends. about 1/3 your pay goes to taxes. but you can claim you dependents at tax time. we always get a nice check back.

it really is hard to guess as some places will be high cost while others are low cost. and they might even be right accost the street from each other. over all 4000 a month makes 36K a year. you will be considered middle class. you will make enough to survive but not enough to retire in the Hampton’s

Cell Phone Radiation Kills Bees

Thursday, February 21st, 2013

Effects of Cell Phone Radiation

While we are dependent on our cell phones and love them, there is some evidence that cell phone radiation can be dangerous for people, as well as a helpful insect to crops – bees. Studies have found that the radio-frequency radiation, a form of electromagnetic radiation, can heat and damage tissues, as well as possibly cause other diseases in the long term, including cancer, brain tumors, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and more. People are not the only beings that are affected by cell phones, however. Some evidence has found that the radiation that comes from cell phones can also kill bees, which can cause all kinds of problems environmentally. Honeybees pollinate crops and other plants, which helps vegetables and fruit to grow and it allows the plants to do their job replenishing the oxygen in the air. What are the mobile radiation effects on the bees?

How Does Cell Phone Radiation Affect Bees?

Studies have suggested that the electromagnetic radiation affects the internal navigation system of the bee, causing it to not be able to return to the hive. The bees then die off, because they are not able to do their normal activities. This premature dying off of the bees causes the fruits and vegetables to not grow as normal, simply because pollination does not occur. This affects the harvest, which can have a significant impact upon the world’s food stores now and in the future. This effect has been seen all over the world from North America to Asia and this can have significant repercussions for people all over the world. Mobile radiation effects can include loss of food crops and can decrease the food for animals that are used for meat, including cows, chickens, and more. This is not a study that is widely accepted, however, simply because many people believe that the decrease in the bee population can be attributed to other issues.

A Contested Theory

Radiation hazards are one issue that is largely contested regarding both bees and humans. The fact that the bee population is dwindling can be attributed to many other things as well, including weather, disease, parasites, etc. The change in weather patterns due to the ozone layer being depleted are thought to cause the bees to die off, which could explain the affect on crops all over the world and the many empty beehives that are found in all parts of the world, also known as Colony Collapse Disorder.

Scientists all over the world are struggling to find and reverse the process of the Colony Collapse Disorder. So far a few theories has been tested but no solid evidence of what is causing this threat was found.
As bees are accountable for 75% of the world seeds distribution of all plants – this is an alarming global threat that needs a solution and fast. If we can’t find and change whatever that is causing bees to die we might face one of the biggest challenges of man-kind.

In the 40′s and 50′s we didn’t know about the link between cigarettes and lung cancer. Are we about to find out about the dark side effects of cellular radiation our mobile device emits?

The Lord’s Favorite Odor in the Sacred Books

Thursday, February 21st, 2013

The Bible says that the odor of a burnt ram on the altar is an aroma pleasing to the Lord. The odor of the burnt Fat ram, the fat tail, the fat around the inner parts, the covering of the liver, both kidneys with the fat on them, and the right thigh. Notice that the burnt “thigh” should be the right one not the left thigh. If a member of the community sins, he should sacrifices an offering, the priest shall remove all the fat, burn it on the altar as an aroma pleasing to the Lord. In this way the priest will make atonement for him, and he will be forgiven. Also, the odor of burnt fine flour and oil, together with all the incense on the grain offering, is an aroma pleasing to the Lord.

On the other hand, the Quran says that neither the meat nor the blood of the sacrificed animal reach Allah. It is the devotion from you to Allah that reaches Him. Allah is not looking for meat or blood or the odor of burnt fat or any similar materials.

Allah is only interested of what is inside your heart (faith, willing to do good deeds, etc.)

Literal linguistic definitions of Aroma, Fragrance and Odor:

Aroma is defined as an odor arising from spices, plants, cooking, etc., e.g. an agreeable odor; fragrance. Another definition is a smell that can be perceived by the olfactory nerve e.g., the aroma of garlic and onions. Aroma is also a pleasant characteristic odor, as of a plant, spice, food or roses.

Fragrance is defined as the quality of being fragrant; a sweet or pleasing scent e.g., Perfume, cologne, toilet water, or the like.

Odor is defined as the property of a substance that activates the sense of smell and/or a sensation perceived by the sense of smell; scent.

Scientific definition:

Odor is a chemical suspended in air, usually at a very low concentration, which we recognize by the sense of olfaction. Odors are also called smells, which can refer to both pleasant and unpleasant odors. The terms fragrance, scent, or aroma are used primarily by the food and cosmetic industry to describe a pleasant odor, and is sometimes used to refer to perfumes.

The perception of an odor effect is a two step process; they are physiological and psychological. The physiological part is the sense of the stimulus by receptors in the nose. After that the psychological part follows. The stimuli are processed by our brain which is responsible for smelling. The perception of an odor is an objective process; that is why analytical measure of odor is impossible. While odor feelings are very personal perceptions, individual reactions are related to gender, age, state of health and private affectations. External or uncommon odors such as flavorists and perfumers are usually noticeable to most individuals.

It has been said: tell me what your favorite odor is I will tell you who are you.

The Lord’s Favorite Odor in the Bible:

Upon reading 18 different English translations of the Bible I noticed great diverse in translation the “pleasing odor”. The different translations are:

New International Version, King James Version, New American Standard Bible, The Message, Amplified Bible, New Living Translation, English Standard Version, Contemporary English Version, New King James Version, 21st Century King James Version, American Standard Version, Young’s Literal Translation, Darby Translation, New Life Version, Holman Christian Standard Bible, New International Reader’s Version, New International Version – UK and Today’s New International Version.

An example of translation of “pleasing odor”:

Exodus 29:18, in King James Version.

And thou shalt burn the whole ram upon the altar: it is a burnt offering unto the LORD: it is a sweet savour, an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

Exodus 29:18 in New International Version

Then burn the entire ram on the altar. It is a burnt offering to the LORD, a pleasing aroma, an offering made to the LORD by fire.

The other 16 versions of the Bible translate “pleasing odor” to:

Soothing aroma, Sweet fragrance, The aroma of the sacrifice, The smell of the burning offering pleased God, Soothing aroma, Sweet savor, Sweet odor, Pleasing smell and Their smell was pleasant to the Lord

However, the most correct translation is that of “Amplified Bible” and it is: Pleasing odor; a scent of satisfaction to His heart.

What is the Lord’s “pleasing odor”?

The odor of a burnt ram on the altar is an aroma pleasing to the Lord.

The odor of the burnt Fat ram, the fat tail, the fat around the inner parts, the covering of the liver, both kidneys with the fat on them, and the right thigh. The Lord’s Favorite Odor in the Quran:

The verse 37 in Surah 22 talks about the sacrificed animals.

Muslims sacrifice sheep, cows, camels etc to Allah.

Neither the meat nor the blood of these animal reach Allah.

It is the devotion from you that reaches Allah.

Allah is not looking for meat or blood or the odor of burnt fat or any similar materials.

Allah is only interested of what is inside your heart (faith, willing to do good deeds, etc.).

The verse ended up by: “give good news to those who do good”.

This good news is for their fate in the Afterlife.

Surah 22:37:

SHAKIR: there does not reach Allah their flesh nor their blood, but to him is acceptable the guarding (against evil) on your part; thus has he made them subservient to you, that you may magnify Allah because he has guided you aright; and give good news to those who do good (to others)

PICKTHAL: their flesh and their food reach not Allah, but the devotion from you reacheth him. thus Have We made them subject unto you that ye may magnify Allah that he hath guided you. And give good tidings (o Muhammad) to the good.

YUSUFALI: it is not their meat nor their blood, that reaches Allah: it is your piety that reaches him: he has thus made them subject to you, that ye may glorify Allah for his guidance to you and proclaim the good news to all who do right.

Again, It should be emphasized that Islam consider saying that the Lord has Favorite Odor which is the burnt fat, meat, oil, incense etc, as a big unforgiving offense in respect to the Lord the Almighty Creator.

Anyone who believes that the Lord the Almighty Creator has Favorite Odor which is the burnt fat, meat, oil, incense etc put himself in the category of unbeliever and he is responsible for himself at the Day of Judgment when the Lord the Almighty Creator asks him:” Have I Favorite Odor? What is my Favorite Odor?

Prepare your answer for that big day.

Back to the main topic of my series of articles (1-43); this is my question to you smart readers: “Is the Quran quoted from the Bible “?
