Is Straight Talk a food phone service to use?

How is this phone service? Is this legit or is 45 bucks a month for everything a bogus thing? I might want to switch to this but dont know if its a good service or not? Anyone else know?

food phone service? i don’t know…

they are an MVNO.. meaning that they do not own their own network… I have used their sister company NET10 before and it was pretty decent…

but all of the major carriers all have unlimited prepaid plans for around $50, verizon, at&t, t-mobile, and sprint under their virgin mobile and boost mobile brands.. so why not just go straight to the carrier that Tracfone uses to provide service to their customers…

I have been using the $30 plan for the past 2 years without any trouble at all…..I would recommend that if you do it, get a basic Motorola flip phone and don’t get anything fancy. Also, make sure that it is operating off of Verizon towers and not Sprint or ATAT….Any smart phone (like the Samsung Galaxy) will operate off of the Sprint towers and the service will suck all the way around. I hope this helps.
