I’ve done great under Obama. I got disability, free apartment, medicaid, food stamps, phone. Your thoughts?

Apartment is really nice. I am only 27. I even got a free membership to a health club. They pay for me to take cabs. Put a higher tax rate on people that work and people that own houses to pay for the poor.

Love the subtle sarcasm. To pretend I took you seriously: basic economics. Nothing that is scarce is free. Money, housing, healthcare, food, and phones are all scarce resources… so they will cost someone something. Sometime. Either the rest of the nation pays for it through taxes, or we go bankrupt as a nation and everyone the U.S. borrowed money from payed for it, or we force our children and grandchildren to pay for it if/when we finally get this debt under control and start spending less than we earn. No matter what ends up happening, someone has to pay for the "free" things people receive from the government. They can choose to pretend that isn’t the case, or they can accept it and live with their conscience knowing that they are forcing others to pay for things that many (dare I say most?) of them don’t truly need. Or, they can be grateful for the help that they’ve received, use those resources to get back on their feet and pay back their debt to humanity by being productive and hardworking people. And vote for someone who will help to make sure that our resources go to those who are truly desperate, rather than to those who are lazy (hint, hint: Obama does not qualify).

You made all that up. It’s too bad that some of you conservatives cannot post legitimate questions that are factual. Actually, I have done well the past 4 years, and I don’t have any of those benefits. Romney seems to have done well financially, also.

How is group therapy by the way? Have you started to understand that touching little boys is bad?
