I have HTC Mozart, I agree about the speed, but… I can’t use it in daily life because it is the worst about the language support! It’s not able to type and read completely! (Thai language)

    the user iterface …
the user iterface is amazing however wp7 market place is a load of crap: do a challenge on that and show people how 75% of what you call apps are useless publicity stunts and games are childish with low quality standards. while u r at it tell people how you wont give native code to wp7 users closing the doors to further app development for the platform, therefore instantly killing it. Wait a minute you did it again you smoked all other manufacturers on how fast you make phones obsolete… go wp

    Where I’ve to go …
Where I’ve to go to have my $100? I’ve to un plug the battery twice a day because the software is freezed. You should put ctrl alt delete on the phone…it was faster to reboot the phone….

well said! even I use windows phone, apps are not good enough beause stupid windows CE kernel, may be WP8 will more developer friendly as it has native C++ and windows 8 shared kernel

    I still like …
I still like Android. It is expandable, has a lot of free applications and I know how to write applications on it as a developer.

Speed of uploading a picture on facebook – does not make a difference for me.

@TheC1c2c3c4c i think you need to reread my comments. i clearly said my classmates either had older versions of msoffice or uploaded their docs from a mac. since you seem to be the windows phone cheerleader tell microsoft to enable flash and improve their ie interface.thanks bro

    you can easily …
you can easily connect to hidden wifi…
a focus is not a good windows phone… its the cheapest one on the market
if your a “student” like you claim then update your windows office program… its 9 years old … no duh its not compatible….(nearly all colleges offer windows office for free to students from there sites)
m6.5 isn’t even considered a windows phone its a kin which is a old discontinued OS that is in no way related to the windows 7 phone OS…
android is a slower OS in any respect.

doesnt make sense, the windows phone uses the native apps to upload but the others go to the web browser to upload…

cont….(which costs 129.99 seprately). If you are a student on the go who share Powerpoint, Word, and Excel documents I ran into compability issues opening files from my classmates documents on Sharepoint because they either had Office 2003, or created the doc on a Mac.

I wish I can say a lot more, but from using M6.5 (Samsung Blackjack) to my current Focus, Microsoft completly DROPPED THE BALL. The phone configuration is too BASIC.
Sorry, but I will be going to the more ESTABLISHED ANDROID !

    cont…. to unless …
cont…. to unless you get a specific microSD card from your carrier, which then in turn only carry the max 16GB for a whopping 69.99 dollars when I can get a 32GB on sale at Staples for 19.99.

Secondly, you cant connect to a hidden wifi ( which has less traffic ) so im stuck with either using my 4G Data, or getting on the slow and crowded wifi which drains my battery.

Third, Microsoft Office Mobile ( while nice ) is extremly juggersome with having to go through Sharepoint ( cont….)

Ok, as a person who watch youtube and never really comment on the videos, I must respond to this video.

As a person who CURRENTLY owns a Windows 7.5 Phone ( Samsung Focus ), I have MAJOR QUALMS and ISSUES surrounding Windows Mobile devices.

First off, the updates (Mango AT&T) that you receive are WORTHLESS. They are WORTHLESS because 1, your device begins to lag, freeze, and just randomly shut down. 2, The “new updates” eats up more of your internal memory which in turn you cant add ( cont…)

Don’t need the gs3 to beat a Windows phone the nexus can beat it….they should try it with ppl who know there phone inside out….no offence

    Two problems. First …
Two problems. First, the typical person doesn’t have their phone stripped down to basic features in a test, and may have installed an app that is utilizing a lot of the memory/CPU. Second, Microsoft has basically created an app that functions to only ‘post pictures to Facebook’ as fast as possible, which anyone could do on Android or iOS with an install/update.

Do you think that all mankind amounts to is a gadget chimp ?

    What a shame, the …
What a shame, the current users of windows phone 7.5 will not be getting the windows phone 8 update, but on the other hand cant wait till they start to release dual core processor phones and SD card support and all that good stuff.

  21. HaroldCaptivate says:

    Wait until Windows …
Wait until Windows Phone 8 comes out. Then lets compare. Watch Android and iPhone get left in the dust with speed and fuctionality.

    Exactly, not only …
Exactly, not only that they give us project features. Siri clearly doesn’t work and it’s not useful at all. People use it more as a joke and a entertainment app than a “virtual assistant.” Siri clearly shouldn’t have been launched. But, I am glad WP’s are getting better and better, I liked the Lumia’s ad campaign against the iPhone, all those commercials were awesome lol.

Yep! in the end, it all comes down to individual preference!

They already have done it. Just search in youtube for ‘Windows Phone Challenge’ and you may stumble upon a WP7 vs iPhone fight.
